Places to stop and see on Camino

The parish albergue in Zabaldika, for sure. Also Casa Magica in Villatuerte.
Casa Magica.
Santa Cruz in Sahagun. Hogar in Monjardin.
Four places stand out to me from last fall's Camino. Orisson, Zubiri-Suesia, Stella - (I will look it up) , Castrojerez - (I will look it up) , Morgade after Sarria.
Oasis Trails in Villamayor de Monjardin. Beautiful village and welcoming albergue.
Zabernika (sp) 8km ish to pampolona. Was wonderful!
Take the detour to Pradela when leaving Villafranca and stay at Albergue Lamas. Great food, nice people, comfortable beds. We took that route in error and were glad we did. Oh, and we only saw 3 other pilgrims on that route.
Las Patas in Torres Del Rio, The Perdon in Uterga and Albergue Escuela in Laguna de Calzada just before Cebriero.
I had a room to myself in Laguna de Castilla, everyone else kept continuing on to O'Cebriero.
My favorite place to stay ) Twice), Emmaus House in Burgos.
San Anton
El Serbal y la Luna in Pieros, before Villafranca del Bierzo.
Arre, just before Pamplona - great courtyard to rest in. If you want a truly special experience, go 5kms off the Camino at Azofra after Najera and take a rest day at Canas. The place where light descends to earth. One lovely casa rural in the town with great meals and kind owners. Very few pilgrims. I went there on both caminos.

1
Arroyo San Bol. I was there with one other person in 2017. Listen to the wind and look at the stars. (And they have plumbing and electricity now. Stayed there before when they did not, was special then, too.) Also, Boadilla en el Camino, in Boadilla. And San Juan de Ortega. Used to have to do laundry out in the fountain
Paloma y Leña about an hour before Sarria. Good eats, nice garden, last chance for quiet before the crowds
